I am currently developing in the .NET environment. I have been using SOA and Web UIs to store data in different databases, for both real time and reporting schemas.
I am working for Epsilon, a marketing company with many cool clients. Epsilon has created an email institute that contains an maintains several best practices in marketing. Check it out!
My experiences at Epsilon have included several WCF services, Microsoft Entities Framework, .NET 3.5 and 2.0, Web UIs, web based content administration application development, and many many more application development for the .NET frameworks 1.1 to the now 3.5 [4 is in the works].
Past experiences have been with BillMatrix. This company established a payment system along with VRU’s to support payment options from checks to debit cards. I had the opportunity to create a robust payment system that could be deployed strictly from database record inserts. The IVR for the VRUs would be created by inserting the dialogs (words, sentences, phrases) into the database through a step engine. The actual step engine could be customized with individual assemblies that were late bound by the step’s assembly type definition in the database. The database was a Microsoft SQL server database and the environment was made up of a standard waterfall methodology, where we had a Development, Staging, Client Testing and Quality Testing environments before production. Any of the environments had to be deployed easily and completely or it was sent back to development. QC was an exact duplicate of the production environment to the day.
I have also been a part of several other companies that ranged from writing JAVA classes to VB classes. Back in the day of VB 3 and 5, I created an internet email system similar to yahoo mail (which was the requirement) for Verizon. This was during one of my many consulting jobs.
I have also been part of consulting for a company called Broadvision in the early knots.. (2000). This included creating HTML content, java classes and java server pages for the implementations.
Soon I will update the page to also include all of projects and what was necessary to complete the projects. (hopefully by creating a project to manage that data… LOL)
Always looking to develop something…
Well thanks for reading about me and I hope you leave a comment.
